CIRMA is a civil society organization founded on May 18, 2018 by a group of people who care about extreme poverty in many families in slums in urban, suburban, and rural areas. Starting from our exploration of poverty enclaves, we found that life for the extreme poor is a life-and-death struggle that must be touched upon in various aspects of their lives in order to achieve dignity of life. We try to start by choosing the simplest side of their daily lives. Water and sanitation are the most basic parts of human life. We choose to improve the quality of life of the poor while at the same time making meaningful efforts to achieve SDG 6. Based on what is available to them, we take part in efforts to provide adequate sanitation and clean water access. Drilling wells and building healthy latrines are the mainstays of meaningful interventions to increase the level of healthy living among the poor. We also pay special attention to infants, children under five years of age, and women of reproductive age on aspects of nutrition and reproductive health as part of efforts to prevent and reduce stunting cases in poor families. Based on the values held by our organization, we build collaborations with various parties and bridge the goodness of institutions that care for the poor as part of a common solution. CIRMA is registered according to the laws and regulations in the Republic of Indonesia, has an operational license, and is registered as a charitable institution operating at the sub-national level.
